​ Pre-marital Preparation
Each session is 50 minutes.
At our first session, we will get to know each other and discuss your relationship goals. You and your partner will also take the online Prepare/Enrich assessment.
You may then choose any of the following focus sessions:
Strength and Growth Areas/Communication, Conflict Resolution, Couple/Family Map, Goals for the Relationship, Finances, Sex and Affection, Children Parenting, and/or Spiritual Beliefs
​ Cost:   $120 per session +  $35 Online Assessment cost (per couple).

COUPLES THERAPY
I also offer couples counseling that focuses on improving the difficulties you may be experiencing in your relationship. I typically recommend and use the Gottman Method. Whether due to a breakdown in communication, a disagreement about life-goals, a difficult transition after marriage, or the start of a new family –couples counseling can help you with the perspective and tools you need to build a strong friendship for life.

Because we are imperfect human beings, there are times when people who share the same square footage will behave and react to one another in ways that are not uplifting. When left unchecked, these patterns can cause distance, tension and resentment. Other patterns like ongoing arguments, power struggles, insecurities, infidelity, feeling powerless, put-downs, trying to get the partner to change, and issues with sexual and/or emotional intimacy may surface.
 
It is my goal to listen attentively, honor the strengths and beauty of each individual, assess the relationship as a whole and act as a coach in session to help couples identify the patterns that are fueling difficulties, while helping them acquire new skills to interact in ways that promote healthy communication, forgiveness and intimacy.
In couples therapy, the relationship is my client.

Together, we will determine the current strength and happiness of your relationship and how you would like to grow. Then, we can decide how many sessions you would like and how to focus.
